On Sunday, Jordan Brand invited the public to celebrate the official “CP3 Day” in Los Angeles. Held at the LA Fire Academy, thousands of people ranging from students, parents and athletes participated in basketball drills outside while trying out Chris Paul’s newest signature shoe, the Jordan CP3.VI. Later on the day, Chris Paul hosted a celebrity game with participating guests, Common, The Game, Jalen Rose, Willie McGinest, Anthony Anderson, Steve Perrin (contributor for ClipsNation, one of the few websites I spend most of my time reading), Casey Veggies and many others.
During halftime, CP3 was presented the official proclamation from the city of Los Angeles stating that October 21st was CP3 Day. After receiving the paperwork, Chris Paul decided to lace up his shoes and play in the second half. As predicted, Paul sliced through the defense and reminded everyone that he was a professional basketball player.
