While I was visiting Miami, I had the opportunity to take a tour of the football facilities at Florida International University.  For those not familiar with the school’s football program, lets just say that they are quietly improving each season and will continue to do so for the next couple years.  Just two years ago, the Golden Panthers played their first bowl game in school history and won, beating the Toledo Rockets.  The following season, FIU was invited to the Beef O Brady Bowl and fell to Marshall, 10-20.  Coming off their best season ever, the Panthers and the entire student community have high expectations for what they intend to accomplish.  One notable game for this upcoming season would be their match-up against Louisville.
